Their initial concerts all went on to achieve great success and the audience seemed to love their music. Initially, they used to perform at the Duluth Armory in London, United Kingdom. However, the orchestra was moved to the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center in the year 1966. This was a state of the art auditorium which had approximately twenty two hundred seats.
The name of the band was finally changed to the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra in the season of the years 1974 and 1975.
