The decade of 1970s is considered the peak period in the development of rock music. Michael Hossack joined the band in 1971 and quit in 1973, but when the band was reunited in 1987 after a long time and barren pause of 5 years, he was one of the firsts to join the Brothers. The current members of the band are together since 1998 except for M.B Gordy who quitted due to personal reasons in 2005. Doobie Brothers are experts in the rock, pop and hard rock music genre.
