Alter Bridge is a Florida based rock group that came into existence from the remains of the Grammy Award winning band, Creed. The band was formed in 2004 and over the span of twelve years the group has gone on to rock the airwaves with hits like, Isolation, Rise Today and Addicted to Pain.
Rocking the airwaves
The three former members of Creed, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Philips established Alter Bridge by recruiting Myles Kennedy to conclude their lineup in 2004. They soon signed with Wind-Up Records and released their first studio album, ‘One Day Remains’ which landed at the fifth spot on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold in the U.S. The group later returned with their second album, ‘Blackbird’ which grabbed the attention of the critics as Bullz-Eye gave it four and a half stars out of five. Alter Bridge then came out with two albums more, ‘AB III’ and ‘Fortress’ both of which reached the second spot on the US Hard Rock chart.
