Starting their career back in 2004, Alter Bridge has so far released four albums, latest one hitting the shelves in 2013. “Fortress” reached the 12th position on the Billboard 200 and produced hits like “Waters Rising”, “Addicted to Pain” and “Cry of Achilles”. The critics called it one of their best efforts that find the members at their creative high. Lead vocalist and guitarist Mark Tremonti soars on the album, as he embraces his skills as a riff machine. He consistently balances intricate, heavy and technical guitar work with the perfect amount of melody. Together Myles Kennedy and Tremonti create marvelous harmonies and display diverse vocal melodies.
Drummer Scott Phillips and bassist Brian Marshall have also experimented with their style and the result is an improved production with several standout moments. Alter Bridge has promised the fans a new album sometime in September 2016 and will soon after embark on a headlining tour.
