Another track from the album, “Great Expectations” was used in the national television commercial of AT&T. In December, that same year, he released his third mixtape titled Past Presents Future. Host of the album was DJ Premier. It featured samples from songs sung by renowned artists like Rakim, A Tribe Called Quest and Nas in 1980s as well 1990s.
 
Early 2011, Diggy Simmons was included in the Billboard’s list of “Artists to Watch 2011” and the yearly Freshmen list of XXL. A debut studio album was on Simmon’s agenda for the year. He released his first song from the album called “Copy, Paste”. The director of the video of the song was Phil the God who had also directed some of his previous videos such as “Made You Look”, “Shook Ones” and “What They Been Waiting For”. He performed “Copy, Paste” on the platform of 2011BET Awards. The song reached twenty ninth position on the list of Billboard Hot R&B/ Hip Hop Songs in the month of September. The second song of the album that was released was “Just Begun” which he later tweeted that it would not be included in the album. This makes “Do It Like You” released in October 2011 to be the second single of the album. In February this year, another single was released called “88”. It featured Jadakiss. The album was finally released in March 2012. Its name is Unexpected Arrival. Within a month of its release, the album has reached the second position on US Rap music charts, number 3 on R&B charts and number thirteen on US album charts.
