John Btuhns, Batek Nikodemski, Mark Winter and Luke Michalczyk make up one of Germany's most well recognized hip-hop band, The Die Orsons. Two well known production houses have their contracts with the group at the same time, the Stuttgart Chimperator and the world famous Universal. The band came to life in early 2007. The celebrities have adapted stage names to be more recognizable. John is known as Tua, Barte as Plan B, Mark as Maeckes and Luke calls himself Kaas.
 
Some say there is a Chinese whisper regarding the proper code under which hip-hop rules exist. The Die Orsons however are complete hundred and eighty degrees from these “ghost-rules” of hip-hop. They have adapted irony, hope, mockery, sarcasm, fantasy and desire as their trademark. These attributes make the band stand out from the rest of the world of hip-hop.
 
Plan B and Maeckes were the brain child behind the Die Orsons band. They were signed on with rights to an album and soon enough had two more members join their band. At this point the title was Orson's Small Farm which quickly caught the attention of notable production houses. The band started going on tours with the small fan-following doubling in no time. Once Tua and Kaas were introduced to the band, the producers decided to bring a play under the bands belt. The Orson's Large Barn was the first play to feature an active band in Germany. With the play gaining fame overnight, the Orson's were signed on to do another tour. This was called the “Almost like Vegas Tour”. By the middle of 2008, they were successful in turning out their first album called, “The Album”. Critics and fans alike had loved this debut album and most had said that Germany's days of hip-hop fame were back. With the coveted “Crown” award the band were all set to keep rising on the stairway to heaven.
 
The Die Orsons took to their newly found fame very sensibly, immediately setting out to create new works of art and give their audiences new tunes to bounce on. Kaas was working hard to establish the band’s roots with Chimperator Productions so as to gain an established record label for the band. Within one year The Orson's had got their second album titled, “for Thine is Thy Kingdom and Thy Power and Thy Glory, Forever” out on record stands and continued to impress their unique genre upon the masses. One of their most famous tours was to follow in the fall of the same year. This tour was titled, “The Aqua Robot Tour” (c. 2009). This roller coaster tour was not one accompanied with comforts or rest. In almost eight days, the band had performed at eight different venues in as many cities. The administration alone, of such a challenging tour, is surely hard to imagine.
 
 
Now a household name all across Germany and most of Europe, the Die Orsons set their site on the next Fat Bread Tour in early 2010. This tour was again a very electrifying and jam-packed ten days of travelling. It is said that by the end of the first week of touring, the Orson's had nearly a thousand cars trailing behind them following them to the next venue. Such has been the craze associated with this relatively young and novice band. This famous “11 Years” tour was by far the most precious and expensive one they had done so far. It was after this tour that the band received its contract from “Universal”. Soon enough, their fans across Europe were demanding their presence and surely The Orson's delivered. This year alone, they have featured in concerts across Austria, Luxembourg and Germany. It is no surprise how soon this band has made a name for it and there is no telling what heights they will reach. At present they are all set to tour Europe again by December.
