The rise of the Dead and Company

The Grateful Dead were undoubtedly the legends of rock music that made it to the Rolling Stones’ list of ‘The Greatest Artists of all Time.’ The group entertained fans with thirteen studio, ten live and seven compilation albums in total. Furthermore the band also received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for its contributions. 

The Grateful Dead members decided to call it quits only to return as the Dead and Company in 2015. Wier, Kreutzmann and Hart added Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti and John Mayer to the lineup. So far Dead and Company has performed on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and have put out their debut EP, ‘Going Places’ in 2015.
