Formed in the mid 90s, Coldplay has slowly risen to become one of the premier rock bands in the world. The British group has released seven studio albums to date, with their latest one, A Head Full of Dreams, coming out in 2015. Their first album, Parachutes, helped them break into the international music scene. Their next album, A Rush of Blood to the Head, won them the 2003 Grammy Award for “Best Alternative Music Album”. X&Y, which came out in 2005, charted in twenty countries at number one and went on to become the third-fastest selling album in UK chart history.

Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, came out in late 2006. It signaled a new direction for the band, with less falsetto, distorted guitar riffs and bluesy undertones. Viva La Vida was followed by Mylo Xyloto in mid-2011 and soon after, they released Ghost Stories in 2014. The album topped charts in the UK, US and most major markets. It also received a Grammy nomination for “Best Pop Vocal Album”.

A Head Full of Dreams

Coldplay released their seventh studio album, “A Head Full of Dreams” in early 2016. The album is special since Chris Martin has said it might be the band’s last album. Coldplay is now out on tour to support their latest endeavor and tickets are available for their performances at various venues.
