Larry Miller was born in 1953 at Long Island, New York. In his early years, Miller had every intention of pursuing the career of a musician and for this purpose he graduated with a degree in music from the Amherst College located in his native area. Soon after, the entertainer got in the nightclub circuit and started performing by playing the piano and drums. Working in various clubs in New York City inspired Larry to take a stab at comedy. Miller filled the nights with unlimited hilarity by performing at clubs like the Catch a Rising Star and Comic Strip. His hit performances to packed houses warranted of his comic genius on stage. Realizing his intense success as a comedian, Miller decided to forego his musical career and started touring fulltime across the U.S for national stand-up shows. On the silver screen he made his debut in 1978 in the movie "Take Down". However the big breakthrough of his career came in 1990 after he landed a role alongside Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in the blockbuster movie "Pretty Woman". Although his role was brief but it was enough for Miller to make his mark as he was able to earn significant amount of laughs.  
Larry is also famous for his memorable roles in movies like "Nutty Professor", "Bee Movie", "Ten Things I Hate About You", "For Richer or Poorer", "The Favor", "Necessary Roughness", "Best in Show" and "Waiting For Guffman". On the small screen Miller had frequent guest roles in shows such as Law & Order, Seinfeld, Boston Legal, 3rd Rock From The Sun and Just Shoot Me. In the year 2000 Miller won a "Film Showcase Jury Award" at the Comedy Arts Festival of the U.S for his incredible comic role in the movie "Pros and Cons". In his time off from his acting career, Larry hosts the podcast ‘This Week With Larry Miller’ where the comedian preys on the ludicrousness of a person’s daily life. Apart from this he lends his voice weekly to the most downloaded podcast on iTunes named ‘The Adam Carolla Show’. The multi-talented artist also wrote the Best Selling book ‘Spoiled Rotten America’ and is a humor columnist for Huffington Post and The Daily Standard

Although Miller doesn’t shows up in the stand-up format as much as he used to but whenever he does he always succeeds to remind his fans of his comic genius. Most recently the artist is touring the nation with his standup show with a theatrical twist named Cocktails with Larry, in which he shares his hysterical take on Marriage, Drinking and Children.
