Interestingly, while growing up Chris Lane saw baseball cards in his future instead of music records. Playing college baseball, he always dreamed of going pro but several knee injuries ended his chances. He joined his father in his landscaping business and on the side started playing the guitar. Produced by Joey Moi, “Girl Problems” peaked at 8^th position on the Billboard Top Country Albums. A classic fusion of pop and R&B, it stirred a bit of complaining from the country traditionalists but overall it’s a stellar effort.

Showcasing his flexibility as a singer and musician, Chris Lane has presented his take on different sounds, be it the sensuous ballad “Circles” or the acoustic-driven “Who’s It Gonna Be”. Andy Albert and Jordan Schmidt joined Lane in co-writing “All About You” and it’s one of the highlights of the album. Featuring a stripped-down arrangement, the track showcases Chris at his best. The singer bares his soul on the number “Back to Me”, a falsetto-infused ballad that’s about letting a love go find herself and hoping that one day she’ll come back.

Chris Lane’s powerful vocal delivery and ingenious sound makes him an incredible live performer.
