In addition to the PRCA rodeo, there are concerts and performances, slack events, Professional Bull Riders, the Old West Museum, USAF Thunderbirds shows, the Western Art Show & sale, an Indian Village, parades, a carnival, and traditional Western foods to enjoy such as pancake breakfasts.

The Cheyenne Frontier Days festival features the largest outdoor rodeo in the world. Come celebrate Authentic West roots by watching professional cowboys battle it out for more than $1 million in cash and prizes. You’ll also get to see the finals of the Championship Bull Riding season, and find out who the champion is.
Parades were a big part of the West and Cheyenne Frontier Days festival honors that by hosting the Grand Parade. You’ll get the chance to see marching bands, floats, antique automobiles and carriages, and riders and persons in period costumes. You can also enjoy one of the lunches put on by local churches on the days of the parade.
While at the festival, you can also visit the Frontier Town. Here, you can step back in time and enjoy Cheyenne’s rich western heritage. You’ll see artisans, merchants, craftspeople, and characters like Wyatt Earp, Lillie Langtry, Buffalo Bill Cody, and Wild Bill Hickok all walking down the streets of this town.

Located at the southeast corner of Frontier Park, Carey and Eighth Avenues, you’ll get to experience an Indian village complete with authentic food, arts, and crafts.

US AIR FORCE THUNDERBIRDS
The first time that the Air Force Thunderbirds put on a show for civilians was at Cheyenne Frontier Days in 1953. Since then, they’ve come back every year to perform here.
THE COWGRILS OF THE WEST BRUNCH AND FASHION SHOW
At the Grand Ballroom of Little America Resort Hotel, you can enjoy a Western fashion show featuring fashions from Just Dandy, Out West & Outstanding fashions, which are all from Cheyenne’s Premier Western Fashion Store. There will also be a Silent Auction, Jewelry, Rodeo Queens and more. This is something you’ll need to make reservations for.
