Celtic Woman Red Bank Tickets
The Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank is presenting the popular music act, Celtic Woman. Inaugurated in 1926, the landmark theatre is one of New Jersey’s finest. Known for holding a variety of shows from musicals to dance shows, film screenings and orchestra concerts, the venue can stage an orchestra comprising as many as a thousand musicians. This time Celtic Woman will be making a stop at the venue as part of the Emerald Tour. Red Bank is all set to welcome the all-girl music group, Celtic Woman. The ensemble was formed in 2004 by David and Sharon Browne when the two directors decided to bring together five Irish singers, who hadn’t previously worked together. The initial lineup of the group consisted of singers, Orla Fallon, Chloe Agnew, Meav Ni Mhaolchatta, Lisa Kelly and Mairead Nesbitt. The debut show performed by the ensemble took place on the 15th of September in 2004 in front of a sold-out crowd. The first record by Celtic Woman was released within a few weeks following this performance. It topped the Billboard World Music chart and maintained its position for 81 weeks. It was eventually certified Platinum.
Throughout the group’s career, Celtic Woman has released a total of fourteen albums, with the most recent one being “Celtic Woman: Emerald – Musical Gems” in 2014. Produced by David Downes, the record was released by Manhattan Label and consists of 15 tracks. Some of these include “Mo Ghile Mear”, “Dulaman”, “Caledonia”, “Amazing Grace”, “the New Ground”, “Bridge over Troubled Water” and “the Parting Glass.” With the album’s release, Celtic Woman has embarked on its promotional tour that will feature songs from the latest album.
