The acoustic version of "Life Less Ordinary" has also featured in the popular animated film, Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey!. Carbon Leaf performed the same song on The Dr. Phil Show back in the early 2000s as well. Some of their other songs have appeared in various movies and shows. Among these include "Let Your Troubles Roll By,"  "The Friendship Song" and "Love loss Hope Repeat."

The most recent album by the band is Ghost Dragon Attacks Castle. In the past years Carbon Leaf is known for winning the International Song Writing Competition, the Coca Cola New Music Award, the Internet Underground Music Archive Award for "Best Unsigned Music Video" and the first place at the USA Songwriting Competition for the song, "The War Was in Color."

The band has been seen playing music at The Rock Boat Music Festival. They also gave the music for the film, On The Rocks. Carbon Leaf has also shared the stage with a number of other popular names of the music industry. These include The Avett Brothers, Dave Mathews Band, Jason Mraz, Something Corporate, David Gray and many others.  Carbon Leaf are known for their steadfast arrangements of drums, guitar, bass and mandolin.
