Hailing from Ohio, Caamp is a folk trio who has become quite popular inthe last few years. The band is now going on a tour and will be performing a series of concerts in different cities across North America. How Caamp started
One-half of the founder of Caamp, Taylor Meir was passionate about music from the beginning. This passion to him writing and performing original songs at different coffee shops in 2013. He then soon met with Evan Westfall and the two felt a strong connection between them and so, Caamp was formed. The duo then began to work on their sound before they recorded and self-released their debut eponymous studio album on March 8, 2016. The record was composed of ten tracks including, Great Heights, Iffy and Mockingbird Song.
Following the release of the record, the guys added Matt Vinson to Caamp and released the band's second studio effort, 'By and By' on July 25, 2019. It featured twelve songs on the track-list including, Peach Fuzz, Wolf Song, Feels Like Home and Moonsmoke.
Catch them on tour
Caamp is now going to head out on its latest tour which is scheduled to begin with a show at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte in September 2019. From there, the guys would go on to trek through cities like, Athens, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Portland and Montreal. They would be ending the road trip in December 2019.
