His artistic intelligence has contributed a lot towards Beach Boys’ growth. As a remarkable solo musician, Wilson leaves an extraordinary music legacy that would serve as an enlightening path for music cohorts. With an outstanding music career of more than five decades, the prestigious star has produced fifteen studio and compilation albums with Beach Boys and twelve studio releases as a solo artist. The current year gets Wilson and his partnering members on the road for a series of their live concerts and it is your chance to buy Brian Wilson tickets to catch him live.

Coming from a family of music lovers, Wilson’s ability to catch tunes and rhythms was noticed by his parents when he was about two. His early experimentation with the music began on his tape recorder where he used to re-group and recreate the beats and record group vocals with his brothers. The very first line-up that the Wilson formed along with his younger brothers and cousin Mike Love was named as Carl and the Passions. The group was joined by Al Jardine, who became their permanent band member in the later years. This bunch of passionate musicians performed during their high school and at various other gatherings.

Wilson composed one of his very first original arrangements which he called ‘Surfer Girl’. The band reunited under the cover of ‘The Pendletones’ and performed the band’s very first single ‘Surfin’ during one of their stage performances. This song was professionally recorded in a studio under the label of Candix records and soon became a local hit in LA. The Pendletones were then transformed into Beach Boys and emerged as an iconic band in the following years.

The Ritchie Valens became the Beach Boys’ first major venue for performing in a live show at the New Year’s Eve. The music potential of the band was rightly spotted by the Capitol Records and soon the recording for the band’s first album began. Brian was credited to be the producer of the band for their 1963 album ‘Surfer Girl’. His artistic development and music growth continued in the following years, where he managed the studio work for Beach Boys as well as wrote many songs for the band, while simultaneously performing with the band. ‘Good Vibrations’, ‘Help Me Rhonda’ and ‘I Get Around’ became the band’s chart-topping songs during the years of 1963-67, selling more than a million records in the US.

The coming decade saw the band losing its focus as Brian suffered from illness and went on a long hiatus. His physical health also suffered when he became an alcoholic, which consequently resulted in many tensions between the band. But in the mid 1980s, after a proper treatment, Brian put himself to work for his solo music album. His self-titled debut solo came out in 1988 and was well received by the audiences and critics alike.

Consistently working with dedication and craze, Wilson released six more albums in the years of 1995-2004. The project that was discarded in 1961 during the recording sessions for the Beach Boys was remodeled and re-arranged by Wilson which was launched as the album ‘Smile’. The album became an instant commercial success and in the coming year won Wilson his first Grammy for the song ‘Mrs. O’Leary’s Cow’. Wilson continued to produce music in the coming years and his most recent album ‘In The Key of Disney’ was released under Walt Disney label in the year of 2011.

Brian and his band are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. The magic of his wonderful artistry speaks through his work.
