In 2004 he released Brian Regan: I Walked on the Moon, a self-produced DVD of his performance at the Irvine Improv, which by word-of-mouth sold more than 25,000 copies in its very first year. In 2005 Regan started to perform in 40 city tours and by the year 2006 it had expanded to more than 70 cities, which in itself was a great achievement. In 2007, Regan signed an exceptional deal with Comedy Central to record hour-long stand-up specials to air on the channel with a subsequent DVD release. The arrangement also included a show progress with Regan and a stand-up theater tour, 'Brian Regan in Concert: A Comedy Central Live Event,' which ran from the year 2007 to 2008.
