About the Band
American rock band Breaking Benjamin was founded by frontman Benjamin Burnley and Jeremy Hummel. They were later joined by bassist Mark Klepaski and Aaron Fink. The band made its debut in the industry with the album Saturate in the year 2002. Their second studio record titled We Are Not Alone hit the shelves in 2004 and the following year Chad Szeliga replaced Hummel in the lineup.
Breaking Benjamin released two more albums namely Phobia and Dear Agony in 2006 and 2009 respectively following which they went on a hiatus owing to Burnley’s ill health.
Comeback
Breaking Benjamin’s comeback record titled Dark Before Dawn was released via Hollywood Records in June, 2015. It was also their first album to feature an entirely different lineup alongside frontman Benjamin Burnley. The record features background vocals by bassist Aaron Bruch and guitarist Keith Wallen, making it the band’s first album to have vocals besides that of Burnley’s.
Live in Spring
Breaking Benjamin and Five Finger Death Punch have joined forces for a joint amphitheater tour. The bands will be performing songs from their upcoming albums as part of this tour. Breaking Benjamin’s album Ember is expected to hit the stores in April while Five Finger Death Punch will release its seventh full-length studio record And justice For None in May.
