- Brantley Gilbert is a romantic at heart. He proposed his then girlfriend Amber Cochran at a local church where they first met. The couple married in 2015 and his wife was the inspiration behind the songs “More Than Miles” and “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do”.
- Before pursuing music professionally, Gilbert was working to get a degree in marriage counseling. A near death experience in which his truck flipped over in an accident acted as a trigger for him, and he decided to take music seriously.
- Jason Aldean’s hit songs “Dirt Road Anthem” and “My Kinda Party” were both written by Brantley Gilbert. He recorded the country rap “Dirt Road Anthem” in 2010 but his version didn’t become that much a hit as compared to Aldean’s.
The 31-year old has finally shed his bad-boy image, has been sober for quite some time and has started to bond more with his fans. He’s now looking forward to keep his nose in the right direction.
