After this album it was one release after the other until 1977 when she got her first breakthrough commercial success for Sweet Forgiveness.

Bonnie Raitt has released 19 studio albums so far and none of them have gone without earning major recognition. As many as seven of her albums have earned Platinum certification. Apart from this she has won a number of gold certifications and has to her name nine Grammy Awards.  Her songs like Nick Of Time, I Can’t Make You Love Me and Love Sneaking Up On You among a list of others are considered to be the all time favorites among her fans.
