The All American Rejects’ History
The All American Rejects came into existence when Nick Wheeler and Tyson Ritter became friends in high school. Based in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the initial lineup in 1999 comprised Ritter on vocals and guitars, Wheeler playing drums and Jesse Tabish on lead guitar and backing vocals. Experimenting with elements of pop-punk and rock music, the newly formed band released an EP in 2001. The independent release titled ‘Same Girl, New Songs’ consisted of 10 original compositions that caught the attention of executives at the Doghouse Records. The All American Rejects gained worldwide acclaim in 2002 with the release of its self-titled studio album. The top 25 release comprised the hit single ‘Swing, Swing.’ The album was certified gold in Canada and platinum in the US.

Blink-182 is a California-based rock band formed in 1992. The initial lineup of the band comprised Tom DeLonge as the vocalist, Scott Raynor as the drummer and Mark Hoppus playing bass. Currently, Hoppus is the only original band member part of Blink-182. He is joined by Matt Skiba on guitars and Travis Barker playing the drums.
