Blink-182’s Early Years
Blink-182 is an American rock band with its roots in California. Active since 1992, the group came into existence from the punk music scene in Southern California. The trio gained popularity during the nineties as a result of their irreverent lyrical humor and intense performances. Initially the band was named ‘Blink’ but changed its name to Blink-182 when its members found out about an Irish group with the same name. The 90s saw the rock ensemble release 3 studio albums. These include 1995’s ‘Cheshire Cat’, 1997’s ‘Dude Ranch’ and 1999’s ‘Enema of the State.’ Enema of the State turned around Blink-182’s luck becoming the group’s bestselling, highest charting album, selling over 15 million copies worldwide.
Blink-182 North American Tour 2016

The band reunited in 2009 with a brand new lineup, Travis Barker on drums and Mark Hoppus on vocals and bass.
