Bill Callahan is a singer and songwriter from Silver Spring, Maryland who first started out his career back in 1990. His claim to fame was being part of the group called Smog. With the band, and even as a solo artist, he made his name in the underground rock music scene, giving preference to the lo-fi sound over the manufactured, and over produced music that dominates the charts today. He is signed to "Drag City Records" with whom he has been working with since the beginning of his career. The singer will be performing at the famous Aladdin Theatre. The Aladdin Theatre was first built in 1928 and was then known as the "Geller’s Theatre". It used to be a movie emporium but has since then evolved into a more diverse venue, hosting plays as well as music concerts. It has been renovated many times under different ownerships.
