Arnez J full name is Arnez Johnson. He was born in a military family in 1966. J is certainly a man of diverse talents. He started his career as a flight attendant in Continental Airlines during the late 80’s. J soon realized that this was not a job of his type so in early 1990’s he decided to leave the airline and pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He is not just a good comedian and actor but also a good basketball player. He was part of the famous Harlem Globetrotters basketball team from 1995-96. The Harlem Globetrotters is an exhibition basketball team that plays basketball with a combination of comedy, athleticism as well as some theatrical work. In 1992 J was one of the finalists at the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition. He has appeared on TV shows like Showtime Comedy Club network and Comic View. In 2004 he did a small role in a stage play produced and directed by actor Billy Dee Williams that was titled The Maintenance Man. In the same year he also appeared in a movie named Up Against The 8 Ball.  
 
Arnez J over the years has developed his own standup comedy style. While he is on stage you can see him not just talking but making the audience laugh by his energetic performance. He will jump, sit skid and even spin on stage during his acts. J actually tries to revive the older era of comedy which mainly focused improvisational action comedy. J terms Burnett and her long running sketch comedy show The Carol Burnett Show as his main inspirations. He quotes that he has yet to see a TV show funnier than The Carol Burnett Show.
