Ariel Pink also known as Ariel Marcus Rosenberg who was born on 24th of June in 1978 is a recording artist who is situated in Los Angeles. Ariel is commonly linked with the nostalgia pop scenes as well as freak folk. He was brought up in Pico Robertson which is a small area in Los Angeles. When he attended high school, he found a growing interest within him for Gothic rock acts such as the Bauhaus, Christian Death, The Cure and The Sisters of Mercy. Ariel usually refers to The Cure as one of his all time favorite bands. When he was about the age of 10, he began writing songs. He has successfully recorded more than 500 songs on thousands of cassette tapes ever since 1996.

Ariel Pink plays and also produces nearly all of his own music. He is known for creating amazing drum sounds using basically his underarms and mouth. The infamous technique of recording at home gives Ariel an edge over his music as an extremely lo-fi sound, it is to the extreme that new listeners of his music may mistake his music from another era altogether. The influence Ariel has had on his musical career have brewed from R. Stevie Moore, who happens to be his mentor, friend and calls him the "Father of Home Recording", to Michael Jackson.

From the years of 2000 to 2002, Ariel Pink worked in partnership with a few fellow recording artist from Los Angeles, better known as Col, this ended up in both of them being showcased on each others’ albums. Ariel also passed on a CD-R in the summer of 2003 to the New York based Animal Collective after he has been introduced to the organization by a mutual friend of theirs and also a sporadic collaborator by the name of Jimi Hey (Indian Jewelry, The Rapture, All Night Radio and Beachwood Sparks) at a show of theirs.

Ariel Pink has successfully managed to catch the media sources attention in the United States of America and all over the world gradually. Most of the albums that he has produced are self made and have not been heard by his fans. All of those records of his which have been produced and recorded commercially have come from is just of late released "Haunted Graffiti" series. These musical record series of Ariel are the best known music of his to date. This extremely talented musician’s solo tours have been a roaring success amongst his commercial audiences. The Haunted Graffiti of Ariel Pink was signed to 4AD records in November 2009. It was then when Ariel released a brand new mp3 hit single by the name of "Round Round" in the month of March in 2010. The release of this mp3 single marked a studio high quality departure from his previous lo-fi recordings. It was a great milestone for Pink. The 4AD record company released the "Round Round" single of Pink’s as a 7" single which was later backed with the "Mistaken Wedding". On the 8th of June, 2010, Pink released a new album by the name of "Before Today". This new album of Pink’s was recognized by Pitchfork in their "Best New Music" category. The "Before Today" album of Ariel Pink has some really awesome new versions of songs that he had released on his former records, out of which some of the most notable singles are "Beverly Kills", "L’Estat (acc. To the widow’s maid)" and "Round and Round" which was previously titled as "Hold On (I’m Calling)/ Frontman".

Ariel Pink Shares New Song ‘Time to Live’

American singer and songwriter Ariel Pink recently shared another song from his upcoming music album titled ‘Dedicated to Bobby Jameson.’ The song is called ‘Time to Live.’ Previously the singer shared the record’s first single ‘Another Weekend.’

The album, dedicated to Bobby Jameson, is slated to release via Mexican Summer on September 2017 following which Pink will hit the road to promote it. Among the cities on his itinerary are Portland, Chicago, San Francisco, New York, New Orleans and Atlanta. His previous full-length record ‘Pom Pom’ came out in 2014.
