America is a music band from the United States of America. The main musical genre of the band is folk rock. Initially the band comprised of members by the names of Dewey Bunnell, Gerry Beckley and Dan Peek. In the year of 1972, when these three original member of this incredible music band where still in their teens, they had managed to become a phenomenal music sensation. The band successfully scored number one hits and also fruitfully won a Grammy Award in the category of the “best new musical artist”. The tremendous success of the bands recorded releases was stretched all the way through the decade of the 1970s. A few of the famous songs of this fantastic band which are very well known all over the world have been, “Sister Golden Hair”, “Tin Man”, “A Horse with No Name”, “Ventura Highway”, “Lonely People” and “Daisy Jane”. Seven of the albums of the band were produced by the acclaimed music producer by the name of George Martin.
 
In the year of 1977, the America folk rock music band unfortunately suffered a he loss of their band member Dan Peek leaving the group. This album of the band was one of the first main label studio recorded album in more than twenty years since their inception.
