In February 2007, they recorded “Agua Del Pozo” which was released in Canada under his own company, Caracol Records. Alex received Juno Award for Best World Music album 2008 for his album, “Agua”. In September 2009, “Agua Del Pozo” was out in the US markets with two unreleased tracks. This venture is for her Spanish linguistic debut album “Mi Plan”, which means ‘My Plan’. This album was released in September 2009 worldwide. A creative songwriter, Alex has started to experiment on several projects where he is willing to collaborate with producers and writers. He won two Juno Awards for World Music Album of the Year: the album Humo De Tabaco received the award in 2006, and for his second album, Agua Del Pozo in 2008. He was fortunate to win the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist in 2010. He was also nominated for Best Latin Pop Album at the Grammy Awards, World Music Album of the Year at the Juno Awards in 2010 and Best Male Pop Vocal Album at the Latin Grammy Awards. He also received the SOCAN Award in 2009 in Canada and a BMI Latin Award.
