Formed in 1984, the Beatles’ tribute band, 1964 The Tribute Band has performed more than 2900 shows worldwide and has released its own albums and videos. The band’s mission is to accurately recreate Beatles’ invasion of US in 1964 concentrating on their touring years. The members of the group include Mark Benson who portrays as John Lennon, Graham Alexander portraying as Paul McCartney, Tom Work portraying as George Harrison and Bobby Potter portraying as Ringo Starr. Mark Benson has been playing drums and piano since he was eight and he rebuilds, restores and recreates guitars besides playing in local Ohio bands. Graham Alexander is a guitarist, song-writer, singer and an actor who released two albums and made cameo appearances in several films before joining the Tribute Band. Tom Work is the cofounder of the band who has worked in dozen notable cover bands and musical theatre productions both as in leading roles onstage and as music director and producer. Bobby Potter is a drummer and a Banjo player who remained associated with two Beatles tribute bands before joining 1964 The Tribute Band and is renowned for portraying Ringo with incredible precision and style.
