Brady Theater was built in 1914 by the architectural firm Rose and Peterson. The building served as an assembly facility for the residents of Tulsa and was known as the Convention Hall for first 4 decades. It was renovated in 1930 by Bruce Goff; he transformed the barn like hall into a show place in actual context. The elegantly painted walls and designed ceiling, draperies, pendant light fixtures, wall panels lined with thin gold dividers, plush seats, air conditioning grills and all of it in combination of green, white, gold and blue shades changed the entire look of the place. It became a true and exact representation of the Western Classic Revival. With time, more structures and facilities were added to complement the rising entertainment needs of the city. It was named as Tulsa Municipal Theater in 1950s.

In 1977, the venue was renamed as Brady Theater and was sold to Peter Mayo in 1978. Mayo is the current owner of the hall. Brady Theater is a registered historic place; it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. The venue is known to the locals as “The Old Lady of Brady”. Ever since its transformation in 1930, Brady Theater has held countless wonderful theater shows and performances by leading artists.
