The Patchogue Theatre first opened on the 23rd of May in the year 1923. Initially, it was known as the Ward and Glynne’s theatre. It was considered as one of the largest and a truly magnificent theater in the Long Island at the time. People described it as "palatial" with fantastic interior decorations.
