Beautiful peacocks could be seen in 1970 in the subdivision area that has now fled from the area. The Ancient America Park was constructed around the Red Indian burial mound. You will still be able to see the mound from within the Boca Marina & Yacht Club vicinity that is on the U.S. 1 located quite close by to Yamato Road.
 
One of the major attractions of Boca Raton is the Caldwell Theatre Company which is one of the longest running professional theaters to be found in all over South Florida. Only recently the theater company celebrated its 34^th season. On the South Federal Highway there is another theatre known as Count de Hoernle Theatre. The city has gorgeous beaches located all along the eastern shore. One of the most notable ones is known as South Inlet Park as well as Red Reef Park. You will find activities like snorkeling. You can also rent a boat on a nominal price. There is also the Gumbo Limbo located on the 20 acre park which is an Environmental Education Center.
