The larger events take place at Asbury Park Convention Hall.
 
In 2005, the New Jersey Music Hall of Fame was inaugurated in Asbury Park. In 2006, the famous Wave Gathering Music Festival was established in the area. This mega music festival takes place mostly in the summer season.
