The New York Giants take on the Cowboys in the most expensive home game

May 19, 2015

The New York Giants, one of the biggest names in the NFL are going through a rough patch right now.  The side that has won four Super Bowls and eight league championships in total haven’t made it to the playoffs for three seasons straight. That is just simply not good enough for a franchise the size of the Giants.

The last time they won the Super Bowl was in 2011 and the wheels began to come off right after that. That triumphant campaign was the last occasion they made it to the postseason festivities. A lot of changes have been made to the roster and there are signs that the Giants might be back in the upcoming season. Their offense is quite impressive and if their front players fire then this might turn out to be a decent campaign.

Umm. I’m a Packer fan jerkoff. The Super Bowl is a sshacwoe of the best talent the league has to offer and should be played at venues most conducive to putting the best product on the field. That means in a controlled environment or at least in outdoor environments where good weather is a fair certainty.Playing in the cold is part of the game, but this is too big of a gamble for the biggest game of the year. It’s fucking stupid and no one will ever convince me otherwise.I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin and I think it would be a disgrace to have the Super Bowl there too. Not because the city and team are not worthy of such an honor, but because there is too great a probability that inclement weather will alter the outcome and tilt the scales in favor of one team. This is the Super Bowl for fucks sake. Play the fucking Pro Bowl in NYC.
