Working his way into prominence, J. Cole is a force to be reckoned with in the hip-hop industry. Following two smash hit albums, “Cole World: The Sideline Story” and “Born Sinner”, the phenomenal rapper took a more personal approach on his third record “2014 Forest Hills Drive”. Besides earning him the 2015 Billboard Music Award for the Top Rap Album, it also received the honor of being the first rap album since 1989 to go Platinum.

Earlier the hip-hop sensation announced his “Forest Hills Drive Tour” via Twitter and wrapped up a very successful 20-date leg that aimed at small markets around the US. Titled “Act 1 – Hometown”, J. Cole kicked off the tour from Eugene on March 2 and performed the final concert on April 7 in Providence. On April 30, the Grammy nominated artist headed overseas to Europe with his “Act 2: The Journey”. He was supported by Jhené Aiko, Bas, Pusha T, Omen and Cozz on this 15-date trek and his final concert at the London O2 Arena on May 18 recorded a sold out attendance.
