Founded in 1954, Wichita Technical Institute (WTI) offers a wide range of quality training programs for those who want to start better careers. The school provides hands-on training in several areas of study. Students can pursue programs in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration technology, pharmacy technician, computer technology and network administration or medical insurance billing & coding specialist. Wichita Technical Institute offers training programs in a range of fields. Students can pursue a training program in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration technology or computer technology and network administration. The associates of occupational studies – computer technology & network administration is also offered at WTI. In addition, students can also pursue programs in healthcare related fields such as medical assistant, medical insurance billing & coding specialist and pharmacy technician.
Financial assistance is available for eligible candidates who are interested in gaining WTI education. They can apply for merit-based or need-based awards and get the financial assistance for fee, tuition and related educational expenses.
Financial aid is available in the form of grants such as Federal Pell Grant or loans such as Federal Direct Loans (Subsidized and Unsubsidized) or Federal Direct Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS). In addition, Imagine America Military Award Program (MAP) and GI Bill – Post 9/11/Montgomery GI Benefits are also available. The financial aid office can help students explore all their options.
