Information systems security specialist (ISSP)
Today’s world is increasingly relying on computers and the internet. Our personal records, company information and national databases are now all accessible online. Due to their sensitive nature, they need to be protected from exploitation by hackers and telemarketers. This is where an ISSP comes in, whose job is to provide network security and prevent cyber crime. In this program, the students learn how to analyze online computer networks and their functions, as well as being trained in ‘ethical’ hacking and computer forensics techniques and tools.

An externship entailing 240 hours of work to be undertaken at a medical facility is a compulsory requirement for this program.
