Located in Northfield, Virginia, Norwich University is one of the country’s leading military and cadet training schools. The private university was founded in 1819 as The American Literary, Scientific and Military Academy but since then has gone on to become the oldest of the six Senior Military Colleges that are recognized by the American Department of Defense. The student body in the university is mostly comprised of the Corps of Cadets while there are also a number of regular students enrolled at the school.

The many campus buildings each specialize in a specific discipline and all programs are taught by and overseen by experienced educationalists. More than 80% of the school’s faculty holds a doctorate while the remaining are leading professionals in their areas of expertise.
