Keiser University is a privately owned and operated higher educational institution located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. The university is well-known in the region for providing quality undergraduate, graduate, and nontraditional distance learning educational degree programs through many of its campuses spread across the state of Florida. Keiser University was founded in 1977 by Dr. Arthur and Evelyn Kaiser, who felt the need to establish a higher educational institution in the region with an aim to serve Florida’s emerging local communities. In late 2009, the university was allowed to award doctorate degrees through its esteemed graduate school.

Over the last three decades, Keiser University has grown into a full-fledged degree awarding institution of international stature. The university currently offers over fifty associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degree programs through various distance learning methods, and also by offering tradition on-campus course through its many campuses spread all over the U.S. state of Florida.
